This creative ensemble series is aimed towards guitar players in the very early stages of learning to read music. The set of six pieces comprises of four accompaniment arrangements to classic jazz standards and two blues pieces. For the standards, parts 1- 4 are confined to the first four frets of a single string (guitar 1 plays on string 1) and when the student has played these parts they should, in principle, be able to play the actual tune. The six pieces can be used to form a twelve week course and guidance notes are supplied in each book.
